Sax Solo For Solo Sax was written for Zach Herchen, a saxophonist I've had the distinct pleasure of working with for a number of years. This piece is inspired by, explores, and expands upon some of my punk and rock influences. It includes several extended techniques including multiphonics and a lower than possible note. This is further extended by electronics which serve to continue the expansion of the saxophone's tonal possibilities.
